Events & Functions
Toblach is more than just a conference destination – it is a stage for events with real impact. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites, events here uniquely combine professional content, emotion and shared experiences. Whether congresses, cultural highlights, business events or special evening formats, the region offers professional infrastructure, strong partners and an environment that inspires creativity and exchange. Short distances, versatile venues and a year-round supporting programme make Toblach an ideal location for events of any scale. Here, events gain space, depth – and lasting memories.

With the Five Rings Evening, Toblach and the Euregio Gustav Mahler Cultural Centre became a place of international dialogue. Music, art and Olympic values came together in an evening that built a cultural bridge from Beijing 2022 to Milan–Cortina 2026. Symphonic film music, lyrical voices and an intercultural art exhibition vividly demonstrated how the Olympic spirit reaches far beyond sport – acting as a unifying force between people and cultures. Under the direction of Maresciallo Maestro Massimiliano Picca, the Fanfara of the 1st Air Region Command of the Italian Air Force captivated the audience. The evening was further enhanced by the Chinese soprano Fan Zhou and tenor Wang Sanlin, who added a special brilliance with selected arias.

The accompanying art exhibition was then opened, featuring sculptures by South Tyrolean artist Friedrich Sebastian Feichter and portrait works by Chinese artist and researcher Tong Yanrunan. This was followed by a reception in the Hall of Mirrors with an international buffet and a presentation by Nicola Paulon, highlighting the strengths of the winter sports regions 3 Zinnen Dolomites and Kronplatz as training destinations for international professional athletes. The evening concluded with a tribute to former Olympic athletes from Toblach: Monika Schwingshackl, the sisters Nathalie and Saskia Santer, and Simone Fontana. A distinguished guest who could not be missing was Hubertus von Hohenlohe.
